A small number of heart patients (6 or less) are needed to participate in a practice session for a Patient Storytelling Workshop and provide feedback and a critique of the workshop to the workshop facilitator. The goal is to make sure the workshop presentation is clear, meaningful and helpful to heart patients in learning to tell their personal stories publicly. Patients should be over the age of 18, either gender, and have been diagnosed with a heart condition and have undergone some type of intervention such as bypass surgery, valve replacement, heart transplant, ICD placement, or stent placement. The event will take place in Washington, DC. The nearest METRO is Gallery Place/Chinatown approximately 2 blocks away. Patients will be compensated for their time. No prior preparation is needed.
