Hi there, I'm testing out a mobile app for caregivers of those with Alzheimer's. I'm looking for volunteers to help out with testing. It's a "locator" app that gives real-time updates and notifications on the whereabouts and location of those who are being monitored by caregivers (specifically seniors with Alzheimers's).
In return, I'm offering remuneration that you can ask about when you respond to this post. There's also the option of getting this app for free (early bird offer) once it's released nationally with investor backing (early 2019).
This is something that should only take about 15-20 of your time, and it should be very easy. I'm looking to gauge quick feedback, and take a few photos of participants trying out the app. NOTE: I can easily meet you at your preferred location, with lots of schedule flexibility.
Preference for seniors, or those aged 50 or above who are caretakers (either formally, or informally for family members, etc). New Haven area preferred, but anywhere in Southern CT through the Hartford metro area works as well.
As a little background, I'm a 32 y/o grad student at the Yale School of Public Health in New Haven. I have a background in software QA, and I work with colleagues who have created an app called "Piece of Mind". We have been selected amongst several hundred startup teams to present at the AngelHack Global Demo Day in San Francisco later this month.
If interested, please feel free to respond to this message directly. You may also text or call and leave a voicemail, and I'll make sure to get back to you promptly.
