BACKGROUND The Center for Decision Research Labs are interdisciplinary research centers operated by the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. The Center of Decision Research is devoted to the study of how individuals form judgments and make decisions. Center researchers, all affiliated with the University of Chicago, examine the processes by which intuition, reasoning, and social interaction produce beliefs, judgments, and choices. We operate two research labs - one located on the University of Chicago campus in Hyde Park, and one in the Loop near Clark and Adams.
RESEARCH PARTICIPATION Our research labs offer numerous research studies taking place every week. Enrolled participants can make weekly appointments online, to be guaranteed participation and compensation. Compensation for participation is typically on the scale of $12 per hour. Participation in our research generally involves simple activities such as filling out surveys and completing computer-based tasks.
