Researchers are seeking people with chronic low back pain between the ages of 18-75 needed for a research study on learning to cope with chronic pain. In this federally-funded study, you will participate in coping skills training sessions during which you will be taught new skills on how to cope with your chronic pain, improve your mood, and increase your quality of life. There will be eight 90 minute sessions (separated by 1 week) at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. You will receive $300 if you complete the study, which included two follow-ups.
